“Motherhood has been awesome …” Tonto Dikeh-Churchill Spills
In a recent Twitter interview with Ynaija, Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh-Churchill, spilled on family, her new role as a mother, meeting her husband, and being happily married.
The devoted mum of one said she felt “favoured, blessed and super happy” when she gave birth to her son and admitted that motherhood has taught her to be a better person.
“Motherhood has been awesome, it has been a learning process for me everyday. Motherhood has taught me to pray more and appreciate,” she said, adding that her husband has been a tremendous source of support, even when it comes to her music.
“Even if I try to quit, my husband wouldn’t let me … I have better music/sound now because he is involved,” she said.
When asked if she always knew that Oladunni Churchill was going to be her husband, she replied, “I never knew he was the one God had in mind for me … but I liked him from the first day I met him … his personality, manners, maturity, big head, Lol, and exposure.”
She confirmed that her decision not to reveal her son to the world has not changed for “security reasons.” She insisted, “My Decision on keeping my family, especially my son, out of the public remains the same.”
