BIZARRE: See Why Teenage Girl Agreed To Be Buried Alive By Family
An 18-year-old girl, Ana Ballesteros, who was struck by lightning reportedly agreed to be buried alive by her family to cure her crippling back pains. She had previously been treated at a hospital but the pains continued.
According to Mirror UK, she was buried in a large hole up to her neck for up to four hours for three days in the familyâs garden, as relatives believed this would âtake the energyâ the lightning left in her.
Ana said: âDoctors study medicine but not lightning. I know that getting into that hole Iâm going to get better because these are ancient things.â
Her grandmother, Blanca de la Rosa also said: âWhat weâre doing is taking the fire out of the light, the heat out of the energy,â while her mum, Milena added:
âLocals told me before I took her to hospital that weâd be better off burying her instead to take the energy from the lightning away. Iâm praying she comes out okay.
She canât walk properly and the burns she suffered on her feet cause her pain. I trust in God.”
