Born Without Eyes! Devastated Mum Cries Out For A Thorough Examination Of Her New Born Baby

A devastated Chinese woman in Guangzhou, has cried out to a larger hospital in China to thoroughly examine her baby boy who was born without eyes.

According to Dailymail, the eye condition known as Anophthalmia is said to affect one in every 100,000 children, and it means that the boy will never be able to see.

The heart-broken baby’s mother, named Liu Peihua, delivered him on September 20 and is now speaking with specialists at a larger hospital in Guangzhou to get a thorough examination of the baby to see if any thing could be done to help the boy’s condition.

Liu’s family reportedly claimed she attended every antenatal check and was not informed with any unusual results.

Fortunately, the boy’s family are now receiving help from the larger hospital to get a better examination of the child and to check if there are any other health issues and also hope to get help from a number of charities to help plan for their son’s future.

According to findings, Anophtalmia cannot be spotted in ultrasounds and conventional tests during pregnancy.

However, determined Liu says she was devastated when she learned about her son’s condition, but she is determined to bring him up despite the obstacles the family might face in the years to come.

There is no current treatment for Anophthalmia although some children have artificial eyes fitted to help the bones around the eyes grow naturally.
