‘My Husband Caused My Stress And Weight Loss,’ Singer, Cheryl Claims In Divorce Papers
Former judge on the UK version of The X Factor, Cheryl Ann Fernandez-Versini has reportedly claimed her ex-husband, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini‘s alleged “unreasonable behaviour” caused her “stress and weight loss” in her explosive divorce papers.
The English singer had sparked worry among fans when she showed off a dramatically slimmer figure towards the end of her marriage to Jean last year, but never confirmed what had caused it, insisting it was just a difficult time. Their divorce has now been finalized.
According to Mirror UK, the former X Factor star confirmed she had officially ended her marriage today, in a hearing lasting just 14 seconds.
A spokesperson for Cheryl said in a statement:
“Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected.”
The pair were granted a decree nisi by Judge Heather MacGregor at a hearing in the Central Family Court in London today.
Neither the singer nor Mr Fernandez-Versini were in court.
Meanwhile, a source reportedly said:
“This has been the result of months of negotiations, but Cheryl and Jean reached an agreement two months ago.
And there has been no financial settlement. Lots of wild figures have been thrown about, but that is the truth, as the documents will show.
Jean is not going to be paid any money by Cheryl.
She will not officially change her name straightaway because that takes time, and there are other things she needs to think about first.”
A friend also told the media:
“J-B has moved on, it’s been a really tough year for him with his father dying, leaving him the only remaining member of his family.
Then there is getting divorced and being bound by a confidentially agreement, which means he can never defend himself or clarify any false reports.
He’d never say anything bad about Cheryl but he realized a long time ago, when he had to deal with everything alone, she wasn’t the girl for him.
He’s focused on his new restaurant and wants everybody to be able to move on with their life, with whoever that may be.”

No man is worth dying over. Once your health and existence is being threatened, please leave. Kudos to her for taking the bold step.
I really fell sad for these duo, I love them and was actually rooting for their marriage.
