This Cute Photo Of A Baby Girl Born Prematurely Will Melt Your Heart

A first-time mum, Lauren Vinje shared the heartwarming photo below of her first daughter who was born prematurely, taken when she weighed just 3lbs 14oz – less than half the weight of a full-term baby.

The photo was taken just five days after she was born prematurely and has gone viral after it was posted on Facebook group, Love What Matters.

Lauren‘s photo of her grinning daughter brought tears of joy to people’s eyes and inspired other parents to share personal stories about their children who were born prematurely and are now happy and healthy.

A mum commented:

“My son was 4.8lbs born 9 weeks early. This May he graduates from med school & will be a Doctor of Osteopathic medicine.”
