Washington and his 2-month-old pregnant girlfriend were at his home on Thursday, and when she was about to leave on Friday morning to her on-campus Millersville University room, authorities said he offered her a drink of water from the refrigerator.

On getting to her room, she felt a burning sensation in her throat, vomited and called 911.

Prosecutors allege that Washington acknowledged having put bleach in the water bottle and had previously said he didn’t want her to have the child. They say the woman and her foetus appear unharmed after doctor examined her.

Washington remains in custody on $1 million bail, pending a November 4 preliminary hearing. Court documents didn’t list a defense attorney who could respond to the charges and a listed phone number for him couldn’t be found as at Saturday.

  • How wicked can a 20 year old be mtschew. If he didn’t want a child, what business does he having sleeping with a woman? What was he expecting after the do? A flat screen TV?

  • But wait o is there any odorless bleach? I’m just wondering how someone will drink water that is supposed to be odorless and tasteless without knowing it has been tampered with. It would have been different if it was a bottle of juice that he added bleach
