Famous celebrity mother of two, Kim Kardashian, is reportedly planning to file for divorce from husband, Kanye West, ‘when the time is right’, meaning after he recovers from his breakdown. She is also allegedly trying to ‘build a case for full custody of their kids, North, 3, and Saint, 12 months.’
Kim and Kanye have been keeping a low profile following his hospitalisation in November because of a mental breakdown that left him at UCLA Medical Center for 10 days.
And while the reality star has reportedly been doing all she can to help aid her 39-year-old rapper hubby’s recovery, USWeekly sources are claiming that she still cares for West, yet feels trapped and ‘unhappy’ in the marriage.
”It will take some time before she can do anything. She doesn’t want to stay married.”
The insider added that Kim won’t make any decisions until Kanye is fully recovered, stating:
”She’s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
It has also been widely speculated that the couple may be experiencing marital issues after it was claimed that the rapper is living apart from his wife and their kids as he receives outpatient care.
However, a source close to West denies that a split between the couple is imminent. The source told People magazine:
”This divorce stuff is completely false. Kim does not have any plans to divorce Kanye. She’s told me it’s false. The picture that’s being painted is that she is planning on leaving him because of the robbery and this [hospitalization] incident.
Kim is being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now. Kanye’s behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs. She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.
He is receiving outpatient care else with a medical team. Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.
There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply.”
However, it has also been reported that Kanye was allowed to attend the low key 1st birthday party for the couple’s son, Saint, last week.
The couple got married on May 24, 2014 at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. They were long time friends before their marriage.
