“Julian is scared of you”- Paula Patton Accuses Ex-Hubby Robin Thicke of Child Abuse During Custody Battle

Popular American Singer, Robin Thicke, is currently facing a lot of scrutiny for allegedly maltreating his son Julian. Ex wife Paula Patton, issued a statement in this regard accusing him of spanking and punching their 6 year old son.

The messy custody battle has ex – wife Patton, accusing Thicke, of being violent towards their son and thus requests that he must be supervised when visiting, which must only take place during the day. She added that at Julian’s kindergarten graduation, Robin showed up drunk at 8:30 AM and was “hooting and hollering and making inappropriate jokes” in the Catholic church.

Sources disclosed to TMZ, that Julian, reportedly informed his school officials, that his dad spanked him multiple times.  This required the case to be reported to Los Angeles County Department, leading to a current investigation on the issue.

Patton, issued a statement affirming Julian’s story saying  “Julian is scared of you.” In a bid to know the severity of pain he inflicted on their son, she asked Thicke, to hit her really hard in the presence of their son and asked Julian if it was the way he was spanked and he said it was worse than that.

Robin fired back through legal documents saying:

“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law, open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.”

He added that Paula, is actually bothered from the fact that he failed to invite her to his father’s funeral.

“Paula did not have a positive relationship with my father and often made negative comments to me about my father. As such, she was not welcome at his funeral, he said. “

Meanwhile, sources disclosed that Paula’s request to limit Thicke’s visitation right was denied at a hearing which took place on Tuesday.

Thicke and Patton separated in February 2014, after 21 years together and almost nine years of marriage.
