“Her Book Hurt My Brand” – Maje Ayida Speaks on Toke Makinwa’s “On Becoming” 

We all remember Maje Ayida, ex husband of media personality, Toke Makinwa. And of course we definitely remember her  recent book, On Becoming, which revealed all the scandalous details about their relationship. You will also recall that Maje sued his ex wife over the tell all book, referring to it as libelous, read here.

In an interview with Punchng, the father of two, confirmed that the case was already in court, and refused to comment on any question that pertained to Toke, her book or any chance of reconciliation. He however only said that her book had hurt his brand.

“People tend to form a perception of you from what they read or hear about you. Having those kinds of things written about me and circulating in the public domain has definitely hurt my brand, though it’s hard to quantify the kind of impact it has had. However, I concentrate my energy on doing good work and letting it speak for me.”
