Victoria Beckham Receives Honor For Her Massive Contribution to Fashion

Victoria Beckham,  just received the OBE honor (order of the British empire) for her contribution to fashion from the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William.

The Spice Girl turned fashion designer, who turned 43 on Monday, received the award, 13 years after her husband, ex England captain David Beckham, was granted the same title for his services to football. Daily Mail reports that the honor bestowed upon her was in recognition of her 17-year career in the fashion industry. Victoria Beckham has become one of the biggest names in the fashion industry globally.

“It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I’m proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge. If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things. I’m so happy to share this very special occasion with my parents and husband; without their love and support, none of this would be possible.”


The former spice girls star shares four children with her husband, son- Brooklyn 18, son-Romeo 14, son-Cruz 12, along with five-year-old daughter Harper.
