New Bride Sets Herself & Husband On Fire For This Sad Reason!
A woman who resides in Kano is said to have set herself and her husband ablaze for this sad reason…unfaithfulness!
Punch shares that the woman, whose identity is yet to be revealed, accused her husband of infidelity after she heard a conversation between her husband and an unidentified woman over the telephone. She got angry and lit a keg of petrol within reach, engulfing their home very early this morning.
The wife, who was also said to be 7 months pregnant, was burnt beyond recognition and died at the scene. The husband was rushed to a nearby hospital after receiving first aid at Fortress Hospital at Sarki Yaki within the city.
Emmanuel Okorie, a supposed friend of the late husband, confirmed to newsmen that the couple got married 5 weeks ago. and that they are from Anambara state. He also divulged that the late Emeka confided in him that the marriage between him and his late wife was arranged by his mother, insinuating that the marriage had no love. He however could not confirm whether it was the telephone call that led to the explosion.
The Kano State Police Command, DSP Musa Magaji Majiya, said detectives had commenced an investigation to find out the cause of the dispute.
This is stupidity to the core.
