Look Who is Finally Ready To Experience Motherhood at 46!
Although she may be a little older than the average first time mom, the stunning Hollywood actress is still willing to give motherhood a trial at least for the sweetness of it.
According to Dailymail, Bring down the house star actress, Queen Latifah has revealed she is finally ready to start a family after getting partying and wild life out of her system.
The Star actress, who has previously talked about her plans to adopt, said she had thought long and hard about motherhood. She also revealed she procrastinates a lot.

“I’m a little bit of a procrastinator, I had some things to deal with. I had to get a lot of partying out of my system early in life for about 40 years. You know what I’m saying. I’m good now. I think I’m ready,” she said.
But despite her openness about her plans, Latifah real name Dana Elaine Owens said she wouldn’t be providing frequent updates to fans based her desired new status of being a mom.
“You’ll know when you see me with the rugrat on my shoulder with the little backpack and all this – ‘Oh, she did it!’ That’s kind of how it will happen.”

However, she did not talk about a partner in her life, the actress is reportedly believed to be single, after splitting from her choreographer girlfriend of three years, Eboni Nichols in 2015.
Speaking about her plans last year, 46-year-old, Latifah explained that she wouldn’t necessarily open her home to a newborn. Latifah said she did not know what God has for her.

‘I can’t say what God has for me, but you will see. You’ll see when I’m lugging the baby on the hip that there is actually a young one around here.
Maybe I’ll adopt a child that’s not necessarily a baby. There are a lot of kids that need love out there. I want to be there for somebody. I’ve got to get all this stuff and give it somebody.’
On the aspect of her profession, Latifah currently stars in the comedy Girls Trip, alongside Jada Pinkett Smith. In 2013 her mother was diagonised with Scleroderma.
It is an incurable autoimmune disease that has caused scar tissue build up (pulmonary fibrosis) in her lungs. Owens also has pulmonary hypertension (blood pressure in the lungs), which impacts her ability to breathe.
