“I cried when my wife left me” – Emeka Ike Laments over His Crashed Marriage
Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike still wants his wife back as he is finding it difficult to believe he’s no longer married to his wife, Suzanne Emma who left him since but the marriage was finally dissolved reecntly.
The unexpected happened earlier this year when his 14-year-old marriage to Emma was dissolved by a Lagos Island Customary Court over alleged incessant battery according to his wife Emma.
The mother of four had approached the court to dissolve the marriage, accusing her former husband of physically and verbally abusing her throughout the duration of their marriage on July 13, 2015 .
But the star actor was not ready to let her go, as he pleaded with the court to reconcile them. Unfortunately his estranged wife did not want anything of such as she was done with Emeka Ike.
Since the father of her children’s plea yielded no results, the court finally dissolved their marriage on the grounds that it was beyond redemption. Since then, Emeka Ike has never been the same again.

According to the actor in a recent chat with Vanguard, he admitted that he still loves Emma and love never dies. He revealed that Chris Okotie could have helped reconcile them but he did not.
“Love never dies, I still love her and I don’t believe we are divorced.I didn’t touch her and my children testified to that in court. I don’t know what came over her and who used her to blackmail me. But all that will be unravelled soon.”
According to the father who recently revealed he is back to the screen, he would find out who was blackmailing his wife to leave him and he believed that it was hurting her and that was why she left.
Emeka said he was told sometime that his wife was beaten mercilessly in a filling station like a common criminal and that could really hurt anyone but he would make sure he gets to the root of the matter.
“I don’t even believe we are divorced and I cannot remarry again. I am a real Christian and Christians don’t divorce. I told the court that I’m not divorcing my wife but they went ahead and got an injunction against a High Court order.
Why was she trying to walk out of her marriage? Who was advising her to divorce me? I must see to the end of this matter because they have put my children out there without a mother.

She’s in pain wherever she is right now because I know they are dealing with her. I learnt that she was beaten black and blue by one wife snatcher sometime ago, beside Mobil Petrol Station on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
My own wife beaten up like a common criminal! I want to know what has gone wrong with my wife, I want to know the devil that is behind this.”
He went on to say watching his wife walk away was the most painful part of his life and although the children do not miss her as they are still disappointed with her because they begged her to stay then.
Emma was said to have shut down most of his investments according to Emeka. He also said he picked her from the street and promised to be her father and lover.

Unfortunately things did not go as planned for the talented actor, he is still not over his pretty wife Emma and intend getting to the root of the matter and maybe bring his wife back into his life.
