This is the heartwarming moment a man proposed to his girlfriend at 40,000ft.

Love was in the air as Easyjet passenger, Rene proposed to Zimbabwean girlfriend, Ettie Mutebuka midway from Mallorca to London.

The flight attendant announced over the PA system that there was a situation going on at the front of the plane and that they needed to have a chat with passenger Ettie.

A confused looking Ettie came to the front of the plane to see her boyfriend, who then went on to declare his love for her.

Jay then got on one knee and asked the all-important question;

“Ettie will you marry me?”

Guess her reply? Of course she said ‘yes’ and the couple who have been an item for years were congratulated with cheers from the passengers.
