Cool FM medial personality Daddy Freeze, in a new video, discusses the dangers of staying in a bad marriage and leaving it behind should be considered a huge blessing.

It is no longer news that the OAP and his estranged wife, Opeyemi Olarinde had a messy split in 2014 after 15 years of marriage over claims of domestic violence and infidelity (read here).

In the video, controversial Freeze who claimed Opeyemi was violent and inflicted injuries on him at the time, explains that not wanting to leave an abusive marriage because you’re afraid of starting over is not reason enough.

”I am a living testimony that divorce from a bad situation is a HUGE BLESSING, my entire family and I rejoice everyday, thanking God for the gift of divorce,” he once posted on his page.

He also spoke about women empowerment so that they will be able to stand for themselves when the man no more cares.

”A woman is not a slave, or property. My message to all women now is to empower yourself, so that you can stand alone for yourself, now and in the future.”

Freeze has since moved on with his chef girlfriend, Benedicta who already has a son for him.

In an explosive interview, Benedicta, mother of one revealed why she ended her 10-years marriage with her ex Paul Odekina, the executive manager of Human Resource at Total E&P Nigeria Limited.
