Wow! Doris Simeon Reveals Best Birthday Gift She Got From Estranged Husband, Daniel Ademinokan
On Sunday July 22, Mom-of-1 and Nollywood actress, Doris Simeon turned a year older and she released beautiful photos of herself.
The beautiful celebrity donned a black dress for the shots, while also rocking box braids for the black & white shots.
Interestingly, the single mom didn’t celebrate her milestone alone. She received the best birthday gift ever from her ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan as she got a chance to celebrate the day with her only son, David in United States of America.
Doris Simeon and Nollywood movie producer, Daniel Ademinokan met on the set of the Daniel-directed Omo Jaiye Jaiye in 2006, and they welcomed a baby boy together in April, 2008; before their separation in 2010.

The estranged pair had a rocky relationship after Daniel moved on with mom-of-2 and fellow actress, Jaiye Aboderin’s widow, Stella Damasus. It was alleged at the time that Daniel had seized their son when he was just two years and had prevented Doris from seeing the boy.
Doris once disclosed in an interview:
”He told me one day that he wanted to go and see his mother and took our only son with him. I didn’t suspect anything because they usually went out together. That was the last time I saw my then two-year-old son.”

You will recall that last month, Daniel Ademinokan finally gave his ex-wife the chance to meet her son after years of being separated from him…an action that earned him accolades on social media.
Well, he has given David and his mum another opportunity to bond again. Sharing photos and a video from the birthday “mom & son” fun time, the excited mama wrote:
“See who spent my birthday with me #davidademinokan guess what he was telling mummy? ???????????????????????????? u want to know abi? #julybabyrocks???????????????????? #motherhood #motherandson.”

On the morning of his 10th year birthday weeks ago, Doris wrote on Instagram:
”Wow, how time flies! Mini me, my one and only love, is 10 today. You will live long in the land of the living and in gud health, plenty wealth and rest of mind in God’s grace and mercy.
Never shall you lack anything at all but remain the star of your generation ijn amen!!! I LOVE U with everything i have in this world. You will surely be greater than I, your mother.
The world knows u already and u will never go down ijn. I pray for u today that as u look forward to your teenage years, and ultimately, a man on ur own, u will will be leader of leaders. I bless u today with the whole of me. MUMMY LOVES U TO BITS.”
