For Speaking Up In The Face Of Sexual Harassment, See The Injustice Done To Princess Alora

A senior doctor at a Nigerian hospital who made a demeaning remark about his female colleague and was called to order by same, got a free pass while the aggrieved got a reprimand.
According to the woman identified as Princess Alora, a senior doctor at her workplace asked where she’s from and when she answered “Akwa Ibom state”, the doctor replied, “Akwa Ibom girls have been known to have sweet pussycat, do you?”
Alora had given him a piece of her mind for such lewd remark to which, the hospital management served her a query for what they termed as insubordination.
Sharing her plight via Twitter, Alora revealed that the hospital management had told her that the doctor is a senior colleague and can do and say whatever he pleases; even when it has to do with her vagina.
Maiduguri based Princess Alora has disclosed that she wouldn’t be sweeping the sexual assault under the carpet.

Her tweets reads:
”A senior doctor met me, asked where I am from, and I said akwa ibon state, then he said “akwa ibom girls have been know to have sweet pussycat, do you”.
I confronted him, but then I was given a query letter for insubordination coz of it. The hospital doesn’t think I have a right
I have answered the query but yet nobody seem to be doing anything, all I am being told is that he is a senior colleagues and he can say and do whatever he wants. This is the country we live in… So infuriating that the management of the hospital feels he wasn’t wrong.”
