Cardi B’s Husband ‘One Birthday Wish’, Offset Tries To Right His Wrongs
Rapper, Cardi B’s husband is trying to right his wrongs. Few weeks ago, the rapper took to her Instagram to announce a split from her husband, and father of her 5-month-old baby, Offset, stating a number of reasons, read here.
Despite reports of Offset’s serial cheating, it is not clear what the final straw was that broke the camel’s back in their marriage. Since Cardi’s surprise announcement of the split however, more cheating allegations have trailed her husband, including the video of crying Summer Bunni, the lady he was allegedly cheating with. After Bunni made a video of herself apologising to Cardi for ruining her marriage, she claimed a few days later that Offset had also cheated with Cardi’s best friend.
But Offset wants to make things right, the Migos rapper revealed his “one birthday wish” in a lengthy video posted to his Instagram on Friday.
According to him, his hope is to win Cardi back and move past the cheating scandal that caused them to split earlier this month. In his address to Cardi, he said:
“We’re going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media. I want to apologize to you Cardi.
I embarrassed you. I made you go crazy.”
He appeared to get even more emotional as he confessed to his infidelity, adding,
“I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been partaking in, and I apologize.
You know what I’m saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed up husband”
He continued to say,
“I’m trying to be a better person. I want to get this off my shoulders. I want to get this off my back. I apologize to you Cardi. I love you.”
He then made mention of their 5 month old daughter, Kulture, and proceeded to state his ‘one birthday wish’, saying:
“And Kulture, I want to spend Christmas with you.”
“I want to be able to spend the rest of my life with you,” he then said. “I apologize. I am sorry for what I have done to you.
I didn’t f–k that girl, but I was entertaining her, you know what I’m saying?
I apologize, and I love you, and I hope you forgive me. My birthday wish is just to have you back.”
