Waje Opens Up On The Effect Being Fat-Shamed Had On Her And It Is Touching
Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, 38, popularly known as WAJE, has opened up on how trolls who body-shamed her made her feel.
Speaking on DANG Network ‘Speak Your Truth‘, the mom-of-1 broke down as she relayed the nasty things trolls said about her body shape.
Tearfully, Waje recounted:
“I was dying to hear someone say that I didn’t need to try so hard to be perfect, that I was enough and it was okay…
I was fat-shamed, one person actually said that I looked like a DSTV remote control, I cried o, I no go lie, I cry! I felt really bad”
