There is no limit to how much people can achieve and how much they can become when given a little support.
Life really can be just a question of opportunity and chance, the previously reported mentally ill family of five consisting of dad, mother and three children have had a turn around for good after getting the support of kind citizens.
Months ago, the family-of-five believed to be mentally ill roamed the streets in Cross River state, but were later rescued and taken off the streets after a corps member took their photo and made them go viral.
After being taken off the streets, they were rehabilitated and now look healthy. With the help of well meaning Nigerians and prompt response from the medical team at the Federal Neuro Psychiatric hospital in Calabar, the man named Ben, his wife, and their 3 kids are on their way to full recovery having roamed Bekwarra-Ogoja in Cross River State for 7 years.
According to reports, doctors say it was an uphill task getting them to accept treatments and food. They resisted strongly and wouldn’t even speak to anyone.
Progress Oberiko, the national youth corps member who first shared their viral story has been following the family’s rehabilitation closely and giving reports on their progress on Facebook.
