Okechukwu Okey Bakassi, Dishes Marriage Advice; Cautions Bachelors About Equality

Nigerian stand up comedian and actor, Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, popularly known as Okey Bakassi, in a new Instagram post has dished out a simple advice to bachelors who look forward to getting married someday. As sensible as the advice sounds, many Nigerian bachelors will likely have a hard time living it.

The actor and dad-of-three who has been married for 17 years, in his video said, bachelors who do not believe that men and women are equal, or that they have equal rights should not bother with marriage.

He also cautioned that bachelors who believe that the woman they marry should worship and serve them, should not marry the educated woman, who has a mind of her own.

He however listed other perks to be derived from choosing an educated woman, but he cautioned that only secure, and emotionally balanced men should seek that type of woman.

”If you do not believe that a man and a woman have equal rights, don’t bother about marriage. If you are looking for a woman to worship and serve you, do not marry an educated woman.

If you are insecure and too jealous, don’t marry a woman who is beautiful. But if you are looking for a woman who would give and raise beautiful children with you, take you to the next level,

support you in times of need, marry a beautiful woman who is hardworking and educated and has a mind of her own. Don’t carry somebody’s daughter to punish her”
