A Nigerian man, Chinedum has just expressed his shock after he witnessed parents paying invigilators to help their kids write the just concluded National Common Entrance examination which took place last Saturday.
According to the married dad-of-three, some parents at the center contributed N20,000 each to the external invigilator to help their children answer examination questions. One child even revealed that the invigilator went as far as shading on the child’s answer booklet.
Narrating the exam malpractice he witnessed, Chinedum who vowed to expose the centre wrote:
”I saw a group of parents contributing N20,000 each to pay the invigilators to help their children write Common Entrance exam on Saturday. I wept when one child came out and said the invigilator helped to shade all the answers.
I was about to cause trouble at the centre but I knew NECO will just cancel the results of that centre and the innocent ones will suffer. So, I will wait till the results are out and I will send an email to NECO about the centre. The NECO official (external invigilator) himself is the one responsible and should be arrested.
Nigeria is a great nation and will forever be a great nation. Nothing is wrong with my country, but some people are pretty determined to kill Nigeria.
I finally know what depression feels like after experiencing this on Saturday when I decided to help my neighbour take his son for common entrance examination, because they had a family emergency.
Whenever I see a group of parent gather during such exam I always know they are up to something. How do you pay bribe for someone to write common Common entrance examination for your child and the child is aware of this?
How? How? How? Is the question I was asking myself and its sad they were all Igbo parents. What is really wrong with us in this country? Are some people mad or madding or maded? I will make sure I expose that external invigilator when the results are out. Please help me repost.”
