OAP, Toke Makinwa Charges Women To Excellence In Daring New Post

Radio host and TV personality, Toke Makinwa has called on women to shed their inhibitions, imposed largely by self and society to become everything that they are capable of becoming.

The best-selling author encouraged women to stop asking for permission to be great because it won’t be handed to them. She charged them instead to go out there and conquer their own dreams without regrets or hesitations because sometimes ”now is all you’ve got”.

Dear woman, stop asking for permission to be great, no one will give it to you.

Take it, go out there and be awesome. Stop waiting for the perfect situation, sometimes all you’ve got is now.

Jump, you may fall or you might just fly. Either way you’ll never know if you don’t take the chance.

Continuing to express her viewpoint, the ‘On Becoming’ author  in a separate post cheered women to dream and buy the things they have worked hard to earn, without feeling bad or fearful that their success may scare off men. She further said the right one will not only respect all the achievements of the woman but he will be inspired by it.

Buy that house, buy your dream car, go on that vacation. Don’t let anyone tell you it’ll scare men away.

The right man will respect all you’ve worked hard to achieve on your own and be inspired that in this “man’s world” (so they think) you did it.

The ones that run away had nothing to offer in the first place. Stop apologizing for being woman enough to choose you over toxic situations.

You are not selfish, it is your right to dream big and achieve even more.
