We guess this is official. Talented Nollywood actress and producer, Yvonne Jegede might have just hinted to her secret and open admirers that she is available to start a relationship again.
The movie star and single mother of one made this known via her Instagram page on Thursday, August 29, 2019, where she shared a rather hilarious post telling men whose advances she spurned earlier to try taking another shot at her. The Nigerian television personality, 36, shared a viral photo with words that read:
“Special announcement… If you have toasted me before and I told you I’m in a relationship, please come back. Ati lo ati de” She added in the caption: “Oya ooo. You all know the story… •SHOOTYOURSHOT.”
Well, we never can tell as she just might be serious about meeting someone new.
Recall that her marriage to rapper turned Nollywood actor, Olakunle Fawole, aka Abounce hit the rocks some months ago over infidelity issues. During an exclusive interview with PULSE, she denied cheating on him during their short-lived marriage. She said:
“No, not at all. Maybe he’s doubting me, I don’t know but I am very certain about myself that not even when I was trying to become pregnant.
I never even dated before I got married, I didn’t do it after we got married, so I wouldn’t do it while we were trying to have a baby together. As I said, it took us almost four months, so it couldn’t have been that era. So for me, I was very clean and committed.”

Yvonne and Abounce marital crisis began after the duo welcomed their son. The actress who welcomed her first child 21-months after she got married to Abounce disclosed that said she and her ex husband started having issues in their marriage three months after she got pregnant with her son.
The Edo State-born movie star said when the issues in her marriage became obvious and irredeemable she moved out of their matrimonial home after a mutual agreement.
However, Yvonne Jegede said her marriage to Abounce was worth it for the months it lasted. She said the times they shared together as a couple were nice and sweet so she wouldn’t trample on those times.
In another interview with Sunday Scoop, Miss Jegede says she doesn’t regret getting hooked to the father of her only child in the first place. She was quoted:
“I do not regret my marriage to him. I have never regretted anything in my life. Every experience is something to learn from. There really is nothing for me to sit down and wish I didn’t do or should have done. Yes, I reverted to my original name on social media, but I am fine. Don’t I look alright?”
