It’s Just A Lapel Pin But Superstar Mum, Beyonce Knowles Completely Made Her Mum Feel Honoured By It

It has to be one of the most rewarding joys of motherhood to have one’s children turn out well and on top of it all recognise and show appreciation for all the sacrifices and work that was put into their growth. High-powered songstress and celebrity mum-of-three, Beyonce Knowles by one simple gesture has given her mum, Tina Lawson one of those moments after she honoured her by making a lapel pin using her favorite throwback photo of the grandma and having the words ‘my mama, my lawyer, my shield’ inscribed on it.

Obviously swooned by her superstar daughter’s thoughtfulness, grandma Lawson took to her Instagram to share how loved and appreciated the songstress made her feel by the gesture. In her appreciative post, Tina shared a photo of The Drunk in Love singer wearing the lapel pin with her mother’s face.

Tina who is also a seasoned businesswoman shared that the throwback photo is her daughters’, Beyonce and Solange’s favourite photo of her and she had no idea the mum-of-three had made it into a lapel pin until yesterday, September 23, 2019.

On why the gesture meant so much to her, Beyonce’s mum said:

This is soo sweet!! Beyonce’ made a lapel pin of me of one of her and Solange’s favorite photos of me as a young lady ! She said the lyric from one of her songs “my mama my lawyer my shield” i loved this because we as mom’s become our kids (LAWYER) , ( defend them) their (protectors) (SHEILD) it was such a lovely gesture last year , that i just saw for the first time yesterday!
