Twitter User, @Queen_Minic Has A Message For Wives On Adjusting Financial Expectations In Marriage

A Nigerian lady identified on Twitter as @Queen_Minic recently shared a piece of advice to women about their responsibilities to their immediate families, as well as adjusting their expectations from their husbands when it comes to responsibilities towards the wife’s siblings and parents.

According to her, women should understand that it is not their husband’s responsibility to take care of their immediate family (wife’s parents and siblings). She advised women to become more financially responsible.

She wrote:

“The duty of your husband is not to take care of your immediate family. Have something doing.

It is your responsibility to take care of your family (siblings and parents)not that of your husband.

Let it be his CHOICE to do. Don’t FORCE it on him, Sis.”
