How Parents Are Unknowingly Pushing Their Children To Do Money Rituals And Yahoo | Dad-Of-3, Reno Omokro

Some parents are fond of comparing their kids to others with the phrase ‘look at your mates’ and that statement has  pushed a lot of young people to do things they never planned to do.

In a recent post, Reno Omokri advised parents who are in the habit of pressuring their children by comparing them to others to stop it. In his words, the pressure put on their innocent children push them into rituals and Yahoo just to please them.

According to the Nigerian activist and author, some parents will tell their children ‘your mate, Benjamine just bought a car for his parents’ forgetting that fathers like Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, and Wale Adenuga are also their mates who are doing so well for their children.

Reno further went ahead to reveal that Otedola, a dad-of-four bought Ferraris for his children few months ago, adding that parents should stop pushing their children to do money rituals and internet fraud, popularly known as “Yahoo Yahoo” by comparing them to their mates who are doing better than them.

The other day Otedola bought Ferraris for his children. Stop pushing your children to do rituals and Yahoo!

Your children do not owe you a living. You owe them a living. They did not ask to be born. You chose to give birth to them. Work smart and leave an inheritance for them.

Don’t waste your life and turn them into your retirement package in your old age! The curse of our continent is parents that want to inherit from children.
