‘I Was Also A Victim Of Linda Ikeji’s Damaging Blogging’ -Celebrity Mum, Toyin Lawani Shares Her Own Story
Nigerian celebrity fashion designer, Toyin Lawani of Tiannahs brand has revealed that she was also a victim of Linda Ikeji’s damaging blogging.
The mother of three said this in reaction of the ongoing verbal war between the controversial blogger and Nollywood actress, Caroline Hutchings.
In a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Lagos, Caroline and Linda Ikeji’s sister, Laura Ikeji-Kanu had a verbal altercation and an angry Caroline averred that Linda was the cause of her failed marriage to billionaire, Musa Danjuma.
Weighing in on the controversy, Toyin Lawani asserted that she once faced the same kind of bully in an article published by Linda’s blog. She said she is a one man’s gang and doesn’t tolerate nonsense, especially when it has to do with her kids.
Adding to her point, the fashion designer emphasized that the majority of the damage from the articles was in the comment section.
In her words:
“As A victim of Linda’s Blogging , You don’t really expect me to not say my truth , even if it makes you uncomfortable, unfortunately kids are not off limit for bloggers anyways.
The damage that’s been done at times from this blogs are not even in the headlines, it’s in the comment session, my Daughter was 9 at this time this damaging things were written about her under a post made by Linda’s blog.
Well you know me when it comes to my kids I will standup for them, so I posted it and called her out, at that time Aunty Funke and Denrele called me to pls take it down and speak with her , so we spoke and she said she didn’t even see the comments and next time I should call her.
Well was I hurt, yes cause it had to do with my child, but that didn’t stop me from being friends with laura cause I love laura for her, I don’t blame the sins of others on others until you prove me wrong.
At times people jump into conclusions when they don’t have clarity. And none of this show is scripted. Recall that actress Caroline Hutchings had revealed that popular blogger, Linda was part of the reasons her marriage to billionaire businessman Musa Danjuma packed up in 2016.
According to the mother of three, the blogger and single mom-of-one posted false information about her person and also smeared her daughter’s image.
Caroline whose marriage of 10 years ended in 2016, said Linda started attacking her the very moment she got married to her husband, adding that Linda lied about her age and also alleged that her daughter was for another man (Read Here).
The single mom said she tried to reach out to Linda several times and also served her court papers but the blogger never responded and instead opted to leave the damaging articles she wrote about her live on her popular blog.
Carolina Hutchings revealed that the stories Linda Ikeji blogged about her affected her daughter.
“My daughter has two fucking holes in the heart,” she told Laura angrily.
She wondered what she ever did to the blogger to deserve what she did to her.
