Mercy Johnson-Okojie Shares Her Biggest Fear About Her Kids And It Will Leave You Emotional!

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, has opened up about her biggest fear about her children.

During the latest episode of Mercy Johnson‘s show, Mercy’s Menu, the mother of four and veteran actress, Shaffy Bello got into a conversation about motherhood and their acting careers.

During the chat, Shaffy spoke about how hard it was for her as a mother to leave her children to fully focus on her career and make a name for herself in the Nigerian movie industry.

Recall that last year, Shaffy narrated how she left her husband and two children in America in search of greener pastures for herself in Nigeria.

Mercy, on her part, opened up about her biggest fear concerning her children. According to her, her biggest fear is her kids going through what she went through as a child.

In her words:

“Hmm. So I saw this quote online, let me start from there. The quote said “Overprotective moms are like girls who grew up without being protected” and that meant something.

So one of my biggest fears would be my kids going through what I went through. That emptiness and that no sense of direction. So like I always say, my life is like a scale of preference and they come first before every other thing, because as a child, I suffered so much and I remember crying with nobody to clean my eyes. I can define hunger because I know it.
