Nollywood star, Angela Okorie has said she won’t be sending her son, Chamberline abroad to further his education.
The actress revealed why in a recent interview with media personality, Nedu Wazobia and his crew on the podcast Honest Bunch, while discussing the impact of the internet on parenting.
According to the divorced mother of one, she refused to send her 11-year-old son abroad because she doesn’t want him to be exposed to homosexuality.
Explaining further, Angela said schools in the Western world now teach their students about homosexuality and encourage them to become transgender, which she does not want for her son.
She added that children abroad are taught to understand that they have the right to choose whatever gender they want, telling a man how it’s okay to live like a woman and vise versa.
In her words:
“And my major fear, and that’s the reason it was so hard for me to relocate my son abroad, is because of what they’re teaching children.
In schools right now, they are teaching kids on how to be homo. They are teaching them a lot of things on how to… You are a man but you can actually live like a girl and change the other side and become a girl from being a man.
They are teaching them a lot of things that I don’t want my son to learn, that I don’t want my son to be.”
