SAD! Actor, Yul Edochie Reportedly Loses First Son, Kambilichukwu
Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has reportedly lost his first son with his first wife, May, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
Details surrounding the death of Yul Edochie’s son are still unclear, but according to reports, Kambilichukwu slumped while playing football with his friends.
A family member who confirmed the news to Vanguard said the 16-year-old had read throughout the night on Tuesday in preparation for his exams on Wednesday.
After his examination, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure. He was immediately rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
“After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive,”
Vanguard quoted the source as saying.
Yul Edochiea and his wife have not made any public statements about the reported loss of their son at the time of this writing.
However, fans and colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences and offer words of comfort to the actor and his family.
Kambilichukwu turned 16 in January 2023 and his parents took to social media to celebrate him.
