Man Writes About How Men Are Responsible For The Materialistic Nature Of Women In Nigeria

A man, @TeddywestsideVF on X has blamed fellow men for “the materialistic nature of romance in Nigeria.”

Teddy pointed out that from a very young age, older men start going after girls and “spoiling” them with money.

This, he says, makes the women materialistic. He added that men also randomly send women money for being beautiful or to talk to them. He writes in part:

“One hill I’m willing to die on is that men are responsible for the materialistic nature of romance in Nigeria.

From sugar daddy culture, to paying babes randomly for “being beautiful” or to talk to em.

Yes you can’t discount the huge role sex work culture plays, but it’s only a willing buyer willing seller market.

You’re in Uni, one married man is ‘spoiling babes’ and you don’t think we’ll end up here.
