Nigerian Lawyer, Stanley Advises On How One Can Protect Their Assets Before Marriage In Absence Of Prenup

Stanley Alieke, the former lawyer to controversial rapper, Darlington Achakpo, aka Speed Darlington, has advised people on how to protect their assets before marriage.
The lawyer, who gave the advice in a post on Sunday, February 2, advised people to sign a prenup before marriage in order to protect their assets during divorce.
According to Stanley, in absence of a prenup, one can protect his or her assets by acquiring properties in their parents’ names as inheritance and gifts are typically exempted from being shared during divorce.

In his post;
“If you can’t get a prenup, acquire properties in your parent’s name then have your parents give you the properties as gifts or your inheritance.
“Inheritance or gifts are exempted from being shared during divorce.”
