Nigerian Woman Recalls The Inhumane Treatment She Experienced After Suffering Miscarriages
Miriam IShember, a Nigerian woman, has recounted her truly traumatizing experience after suffering miscarriages.
In a post shared on Facebook, Miriam shared her regrets for allowing herself to tolerate such inhumane treatment from her husband and those concerned.
According to Miriam, from Benue state, she had several miscarriages and at every miscarriage, she was abandoned in the hospital because she couldn’t carry the pregnancies to full term.
She shared her experience while reacting to ongoing conversation on pregnant women and saving money towards childbirth.
Miriam said after experiencing each miscarriage and left in the hospital, it is either her friends, her mum or the doctor of the hospital where she received treatment would pay her bills.

“Whenever I think about the things I allowed people do to me in this life, Like I get angry and ashamed of myself at the same time. How did I even allow myself to tolerate such inhumane treatment?
At every miscarriage, I was abandoned in the hospital to pay bills for myself because I no fit to carry pregnancy to full term.
It’s either my friends are bailing me out, my mum or Dr Ijeko will take pity on me and ask me to leave. Each time I try to forgive them, and remember all the trauma they put me through…”
