Prompted by a post she received about a young girl feeling lost, the Nollywood legend said she felt led to speak directly to those who might be struggling with self-worth and direction.
The mother of four’s message was clear, honest, and deeply reassuring. She began:
“Darling, everyone blossoms at different times. Although family, society, and culture have framed when it seems right? It is not always best… and possibly not for you.”
In a world where social media amplifies pressure and comparison, Omotola reminded young women that feeling “different” isn’t a flaw — it’s a gift.
“You think it’s bad because you’re not normal? No. It’s special. You are special,” she said.
She encouraged them to step away from the noise — including social media — and instead focus on what brings peace, hope, and joy. She added:
