Celebrity Mum, Damilola Adegbite Shares Liberating Life Lessons We All Need To See

Nollywood sweetheart, Damilola Adegbite has shared a heartfelt message with her fans.
The mother of one, who recently turned 40, encouraged emotional maturity and self-mastery in a video posted on her Instagram.
In the video recorded after attending an event, Damilola revealed that during a phone conversation with a friend, she realised how powerful the message was and decided to speak directly to anyone who might need to hear it.
According to her, one of the most liberating lessons in life is understanding that nobody owes you anything. In her words:
“Sometimes the people you showed up for will not show up for you. Sometimes your hard efforts will go unnoticed. That apology you are waiting for may never come.”
She emphasised that while many people expect good things to happen to them simply because they act right, life doesn’t always follow that pattern.
The dashing momma explained that people often give love and care not because they’re obligated to, but because they choose to. She added:
“Somebody shows you love, care, attention… it’s not your entitlement. They choose to care. They don’t have to.”
The actress encouraged her followers to stop getting upset when others don’t treat them the way they expect. Instead, she advised them to observe, adjust, and keep moving.
