Nigerian Lawyer Shares Valid Reasons She’s Not Remarrying 23 Years After Her Divorce

A Nigerian lawyer, Goldfish Rahmatulai, has revealed why she might not remarry.

The mother of three and grandma, who has been divorced for 23 years, said fear of making a second mistake and menopause are among the reasons for her choice to remain single.

In her words:

“Note: I have been divorced 23 years this year.

1. Fear of making a second mistake

2. No longer patient with shenanigans

3. Menopause = fatigue. I might not cope well with serving oga.

4. Now private, extremely small circle of friends, I might not be ready for family and friends from his side. 5. Space. Can we live apart?

6. Hmmmmm. Too many reasons.
