2Face Idibia Tenders Apology Following His Recent Interview: ‘I Know I’m Going To Get Cancelled Because Of It’

Veteran singer, 2Face Idibia has tendered an unreserved public apology over his controversial remark.

2Face had, during an interview with Nedu Wazobia, claimed that men aren’t built to be sexually committed to a woman.

The father of six from three different women claimed that a man can love a woman and still cheat on her with another woman.

His statement sparked provocation on social media, with netizens condemning him. Reacting to the backlash, the 49-year-old singer, in a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday morning, tendered an apology to his fans.

He went further to specifically apologise to his latest wife, Honorable Natasha Osawaru.

He stated:

“I know I f.c#ked up with what I said and I know I’m going to get cancelled because of it. I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am.”

In another video, he said:

“I know I have fucked up with what I have said. I really, really fucked up the way I said it. I’m going to pay with a heavy price. I’m going to face the consequences.

“I said it because I want people to understand me, but maybe I didn’t say it appropriately. I own up to my mistake. But one thing I know for sure is I’m sorry to my wife Natasha. Calling me a legend is an honor, but this my talk is quite unlegendly.
