Uche Ogbodo Replies Colleague, Maureen Solomon For Criticizing Mummy Makeover Surgery (BBL)
Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has responded to the criticisms she received after following through with the second phase of her makeover surgery popularly known as Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
A few days ago, legendary Nollywood actress, Maureen Solomon had voiced her concerns over the way her female colleagues share their BBL recovery videos on social media.
In a video posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, October 25, the mother of two criticized these colleagues’ casual approach toward body enhancements, arguing that it sends the wrong message to young girls.
The veteran movie star stated that she has no issue with BBL or other cosmetic procedures but draws the line at posting such content online.
In a fiery video shared online, Uche made it clear that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with body enhancement and that people should be allowed to fix what they’re uncomfortable with — without being judged.
The mom of three said,
“There is nothing morally wrong in enhancing any part of your body that you don’t feel comfortable with. Be it your nose, your dentition, your tummy, your butt — it’s your body, and technology has made it possible to improve it.”

The actress explained that she considers cosmetic surgery a blessing of modern science, not a moral issue. According to her, showing people the proper way to get such procedures done is better than lying to them or encouraging unsafe practices.
In another post, Uche on her Instagram story, stated that people were pained that she survived the surgery.
The movie star added that such people should focus on raising their kids and keeping them off social media. She wrote:
“E dey pan Witches say I survive my 2nd phase of mummy makeover and I’m thriving in good health. You all will rot in the gutter you dug for me that I didn’t fall inside!. Enemies of other people’s good lucks n Blessings.
Face your miserable life and train your own kids well and keep them off Social media!. You wan use me trend!. Mtcheeeew!.
