Nigerian Man Narrates How A Fire Outbreak At His Neighbour’s Apartment Ended Their Marriage And Uncovered A Sinister Plot
An X user has shared how staying awake past his bed time helped avert tragedy and also led to the end of his neighbour’s marriage.
The man, @Nigeriangod_ narrated how he raised alarm when he noticed a fire at his neighbour’s house and how the man saved himself and his son, abandoning his wife in the house.
After neighbours saved his unconscious wife, she discovered at the hospital that she had sleeping pills in her system, which left her shocked since she didn’t remember taking any pills.
The woman filed for divorce after the incident, believing her husband wanted her dead.

“I woke up one night to my neighbors house on fire, I quickly ran to their flat to shout their name, the husband ran out and seeing the magnitude of the fire he went back inside and picked their 8months old son, neighbors came out and the fire have really engulfed the parlor and kitchen.
“My elder brother realized my neighbor’s wife was not outside and asked her husband he looked confused, my elder brother managed to break into their room through the window and the woman was lying lifeless on the bed.
“He brought her out, with some burns to her arms and leg and started performing CPR until she was rushed to the hospital.
“Months later she filed for divorce stating the husband didn’t bother to wake her up and just picked her son alone, it was later discovered after 5yrs that it was the man who set up the fire, I was just at the right place to raise the alarm.
“If the marriage ain’t working just leave then murdering someone.”

When asked how the woman discovered the husband started the fire, the narrator wrote:
“She met the doctor and he asked her why did she take too much sleeping pills that night and she was shocked. He said he didn’t tell her back then due to the trauma of the fire incident but he suspected foul play.
“She opened a case against him and got him arrested he confessed to the crime and his family started begging her but because she had moved on with her child she just let the case slide.”
