Nigerian Lady Shares Her Major Viewpoint After Man Advised Women To Marry ‘Providing’ Men

A Nigerian lady, Ijeoma Chinonyerem, has shared her thought after a man took to social media to advise women to marry ‘providing’ men even if they are earning N2m monthly.

Damilola Christian Amadi had posted: “Dear ladies, even if you’re earning 2million monthly, still go for a providing man.”

Reacting to his post, Ijeoma said that a ‘providing man’ is not necessarily a wealthy man or one who earns more than his wife.

She added that while there are women married to men they out-earn, the men still provide and take up their responsibilities irrespective of who earns what.

According to Ijeoma, it’s a mindset thing, not a wealth thing. She then advised women to go for men who have such mindset and not just a wealthy man.

She also threw a shade at “Proverbs 31 women” married to “non-head giving, non-toilet flushing” men they provide for.

“And let me add, he said a PROVIDING man, not a man who is richer than you. A providing man provides whether you outearn him or not. It’s not a matter of account balance. It’s a mindset thing.

There are women married to multimillionaires who out-earn them yet these men don’t provide. They’ll be answering nwunye odogwu for mouth.

While there are women married to men they out-earn but the men provide and take up their responsibilities irrespective of who earns what.

Again, it’s a mindset thing, not a wealth thing. Go for that mindset, not the money wey you dey see cos you fit no taste am.
