‘It Traumatised Me And Was Scary’ -Daddy Freeze Speaks Out After 2Baba And Natasha’s Altercation On His Live, As Singer’s Ex Manager Drops Bombshell About His Marriage
Media personality and former, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the heated altercation between legendary singer 2baba and his ew wife, Natasha Osawaru Idibia.
We had earlier reported that a former staff member of 2Baba, identified as Kaka Igbokwe, granted an interview to Freeze, alleging that Natasha frequently hindered the singer’s growth and exerted psychological control over him.
According to Kaka, 2Baba rarely spoke up against her in Nigeria, but while on tour abroad, he was more vocal about wanting his music and business to progress. Kaka further alleged that Natasha was insecure about the singer’s success, fearing it would make him harder to control.
He described her behaviour as psychologically diminishing, insisting it reduced the singer’s confidence and affected his mental state. He added that he eventually cut ties with the couple because he believed Natasha’s conduct impeded 2Baba’s career.
Kaka also alleged that the singer and Natasha have been abusing drugs and that Natasha has been working against the singer’s growth because she wants him under her control.
He also revealed that she has been violent towards him and that they had witnessed several incidents where she has attacked him.
The former manager also alleged that Natasha is now the one in control of 2face’s finances.
Surprisingly, 2baba had joined the Live broadcast to address the situation when he and Natasha got into a heated argument. The singer quickly exited the live stream, fueling more tension between the couple.
Reacting to it, Daddy Freeze said if anything happens to the music icon tomorrow, no one will hold him accountable, as he had tried for him.
He said what happened in his Live traumatised him, and it was scary. He said he is bothered by the couple and told those close to them to intervene.
In his words:
“If anything happens to 2baba in this life, nobody can say I didn’t try.
What happened on my Live show today traumatised me. I don’t know the details of what happened, but it was scary.
I am bothered by 2Face and Natasha. If you are close to them, can you please check on them? Even my wife was worried. I don’t know who to call”.
The former OAP appreciated his wife for not beating him because a lot of people would have made a jest of him.
“My darling, anytime I see you, I am thankful. Thank you for not beating me because a lot of people would have made a jest of me and say ‘see the person that talks about people’s lives”.
His absence came amid rumours that he had been arrested after a fight with Natasha, who is also a lawmaker in Edo State House of Assembly, at the airport.
According to Kaka, who is the son of the late Nigerian music legend, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
Narrating how the altercation happened, Kaka who was part of the London team, and was on the same flight with them, said Natasha got upset when she felt 2face abandoned her after they landed at the airport and strolled away with fans who ushered him into a shop.
However, when the, “African Queen” crooner realised that Natasha was left behind, he hurriedly ran back to her as she lashed out at him, leading to his being arrested and handcuffed.
The video of the arrest, which was posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, sparked fresh debate online.
