Singer, Portable Calls Out His Father As He Compares Him To Late Mohbad’s Father: ‘What Is Your Importance In My Life?’
Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has called out his father, Mr Olalomi, saying his life was better without him.
In a social media outburst, the controversial musician alleged that his dad took away his shoes, clothes, and other personal belongings.
The soon-to-be father of seven compared his situation to that of late singer, Mohbad, whose father started wearing his clothes and shoes after his death and also fighting to take over his property.
Portable said his father has been after his property and possessions. He said his life was more stable when his father wasn’t involved in it.
The entertainer questioned his father’s importance in his life, noting that he didn’t show up during his police cases, nor did he send him to school. He recalled how he wanted to learn tailoring, but his dad allegedly refused to support or pay for the training.
The singer said despite failing him in the past, when he wanted to build a house, he told his father to help him handle it, but to his surprise he used the opportunity to scam him.
He further accused his father to collecting all his baby mama phone numbers and he bills them for money all the time.
The singer admonished his father to leave him alone and let him live in life. In his words:
“Anytime I have a police case, my Dad will never show up for me. What is your importance in my life? You didn’t send me to school.
You are just like Baba Mohbad; you are always wearing my shoes and clothes. You can never inherit me. I will not allow you to do to me what they did to Mohbad. You have all my baby mama phone numbers and you bill them for money all the time.
When I wanted to build a house, and I told him to handle it, he was always cheating me. A block of N300,000, he will call it N900,000. Leave me alone and let me live my life. You scammed me”.
This isn’t the first time Portable is calling out his father.
Last year, after the Ogun State government sealed some of his properties, the Zazu crooner accused his father of abandoning him during his time of trouble.

According to the street singer, his father was the one he gave money to help with his house projects, but he didn’t settle the police, hence why he was in a mess.
Portable questioned why his father couldn’t go to the police station to cover him. Calling him a bad father, he noted how he was always giving him money, yet he ripped him.
