According to various report, the Nigerian Federal Government, through the Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekaru has ordered that both primary and secondary schools, private and public remain closed till October 15. This closure of schools serves as a preventive and control measure against the spread of the deadly virus, Ebola.
He further stated that the government will got to any length to punish any school and the Ministry of Education will duly sanction any school that fails to comply. The Minister recommended training for at least 2 staffs from each school which must be concluded by September 15, 2015.
