14-Year-Old Schoolboy Solicits Classmate To Kill His Family

A schoolboy drew up a killing contract for his classmate to slaughter his entire family and stage it as a burglary gone wrong.

The 14-year-old, from Florida, has been arrested on suspicion of soliciting murder after his father found the chilling document. It was signed by a friend, ordering the murders of his dad, step mum and older stepbrother in return for $1,200.

Police said in a charging document the teen was arrested after his dad found the disturbing note and a folding knife in his backpack last weekend.

“I (name redacted) will be hitman for hire for (defendant’s name redacted) to murder (names redacted),” the note reads.

“I am aware that if I do not go through with it I will not get paid. Money in question we agreed upon was 1200 dollars. I will leave in an hour or two within the murder,” the signed document reads.

It is understood the schoolboy, who “hated” his family, told police he was planning to stage the killing as a burglary gone wrong. He would then run to his neighbour’s house and have them call for an ambulance, court documents show.

His classmate admitted signing the contract but told police he thought it was a joke and never planned to carry out the killings.

The classmate won’t face charges for his involvement, Sgt Frank Sabol told the Daily News.

Police in Port St Lucie, Florida, where the boy has lived for three years, said he was “depressed” and wanted to harm himself.

He had no weapons or cash to carry out the planned crime against his family.

In April 2014, the boy had taken a knife to school and threatened to kill classmates, the teen’s dad told police.

Detective Paul Griffith of Port St Lucie police told a press conference filmed by WPTV (West Palm TV) in Florida that the child “hated” his family.

He said: “He’s hated his family. He hates his father and has learnt to hate his step brother and step mother…rare to see this kind of hatred from a young boy.”
