Nigerian Man Flees After Impregnating Woman In UAE
Sharjah police are searching for a Nigerian building guard believed to be the father of a baby delivered by an unmarried Ethiopian woman at a local hospital in the United Arab Emirates. He is said to have disappeared after learning his girlfriend was about to deliver.
The 28-year-old woman gave birth to a baby girl and doctors at Al Qassimi Hospital reported her to the police after discovering she is not married as the country’s laws prohibit getting pregnant out of wedlock.
