Chris Brown Wins Joint Custody of Daughter…See Details of His Win
According to TMZ, Chris Brown has scored an enormous victory in his child custody war with his baby mama. He now gets to share custody of their daughter, Royalty, with Nia, and will be taking her home today.
Nia Guzman not only wanted to deny Chris any custodial rights, she also only wanted to give him supervised visitation.
A court in Houston on Friday, however, ruled Chris and Nia will share 50/50 physical custody, with Royalty going back and fourth every 4 days. Both Chris and Nia now live in L.A. Chris also agreed that his mother would always be present when Royalty is in his custody.
In another victory, the judge ordered that Chris pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support in place of Nia’s $15k request, which mean he’ll be paying exactly what he used to.
The judge also ordered Nia not to talk crap on Chris or reveal anything about the case on social media.
Nia’s legal team has a positive outlook on the hearing, which they reportedly see as merely a temporary victory for Chris, since there will be a mediation in weeks to come, and child support payments will be addressed.
