FAMILY RECIPE: Orange Pork

Hey, mums! You can’t go wrong with this yummy recipe.
Ingredients
600 g pork (cut into bite sizes)
120g scallion/spring onion (chopped)
1 egg white
4 tbsp honey (liquid)
4 tbspn corn starch
1 medium size red bell pepper
3 cloves garlic (chopped) or 1 tbsp garlic paste
11/2 finger ginger( chopped) or 1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tsp white pepper
1 tspn black pepper
Chilli pepper (depends on how hot you want it)
Meat stock (meat cube mixed with 2 dl warm water)
3 tbsp olive oil
6 tbsp orange juice( freshly pressed juice, preferably)
1 whole orange zest.
3 tbsp white wine vinegar/ rice vinegar
4 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp all purpose seasoning

How to prepare
In a large bowl mix pork, egg white, corn starch, salt and seasoning. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes. Heat oil and fry pork for 4-5 minutes on medium heat or until slightly brown. Add black pepper and keep stiring from time to time. Stir in ginger and garlic and allow to fry for a minute.
In another bowl, mix honey, meat stock, juice, orange zest, soya sauce, white pepper and vinegar.
Pour the mixture on the pork and let it cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens and reduces.
Stir in scallions and bell pepper. Allow to cook for a minute. Serve with rice or wheat.
