See Mum’s Unusual Reaction After Son in College Fails to Call for Weeks
A mother of four, Ann Pinto McCarney, who had not heard from her 18-year-old son, Liam, who recently left home for college in more than three weeks decided to call him to order by posting a video on Facebook.
She said in the video:
“Do you remember me? I’m your mommy. I gave birth to you. Well, actually, I didn’t quite give birth. I had to have a C-section to get you out. Big scar and hurt like hell. But that’s OK. Do you remember that was me that gave you life?”
She goes on to explain how she’s been there for him for the past 18 years and brings on even more sarcasm by showing him how to use a phone – just in case he had forgotten how.
“I need to give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you haven’t forgotten me. Maybe you’ve forgotten how to use a phone,” she added.
Her son called the next day after she posted the viral video.
Defending her choice to call him to order publicly, she told NBC 10: “Sending your child off to college is so bittersweet to begin with. There’s a combination of your heart is soaring and swelling with pride and yet it’s breaking at the same time. So when you let them go like that, you don’t want to feel like you’ve been completely erased from their life.”
Na Wao!
