GRAPHIC: Soldiers Kill Boko Haram Members, Rescue 210 Captives

5 Boko Haram members were reportedly killed by troops during an attack on the terroists in Furkati village, Geidam Local Government Area in Borno state yesterday.
Troops also rescued 210 persons, mostly elderly men, women and children, following a tip off that they were being held captive by the terrorists in Ejilije, Bulagaije-lari, Bulagaije-Adamde and Ajiri villages. The terrorists however fled before the arrival of the soldiers.
The rescued captives are now at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp.
Items including 1 Machine Gun barrel, 4 loaded magazines of G3 rifles, 4 Dane guns, 7.62mm ammunitions, empty canisters of Mortar bombs and a bandoleer, were recovered from the terrorists.
